Implant Placement Perfected

Dental implants must be placed a specific way in order to provide you with their full functional and aesthetic benefits. Using advanced dental technology known as the i-CAT® 3D cone beam machine, we can create a fit perfectly customized to you. This innovative tool gives us highly detailed images of your mouth that act as a roadmap for us when we place your dental implants, showing us precisely where to position them. As a result, you’ll enjoy a comfortable, reliable fit with new teeth that look and feel amazing.

How Dental Implant Placement Is Done

Before any dental implant-related procedures are performed, you’ll come to our Danbury, CT office for a consultation with Dr. Richard Amato. He’ll examine your mouth and ask some questions to determine if dental implants are the right solution for you. Once he does, he’ll schedule the first of two appointments required to complete the dental implant process. During the first visit, Dr. Amato will extract any decayed teeth that need to be replaced, then insert durable titanium posts that will take the place of your natural tooth roots into your jaw.

After a few months, the surgical sites will heal, and you’ll return to our office for your final surgical appointment. During this visit, Dr. Amato will remove gum tissue that has grown over the implant posts before topping each post off with a crown, connecting it to the implant post via an abutment. The crown will blend seamlessly with the surrounding teeth and look completely natural. At the end of your appointment, you’ll leave our office with sturdy, attractive teeth that will restore your ability to live a normal, fulfilling life!
